Portfolio Update: At the Library

Books, books, books!  Recently, our library district decided to tear down a smallish branch, and in the lot behind it, simultaneously build a 2 wing, 2 story modern branch.  This place is amazing, with meeting rooms, computers, comfy lounge areas and even a big convention room.  Of course, I wanted to shoot there, so I negotiated some time on a Sunday morning to shoot some stock images, and you’ll find these photos exclusively on Stocksy!

The New iStockphoto Checkout Process

As I detailed last week, iStockphoto announced a new purchase and checkout workflow for your stock content licensing needs.  Well, the new software went into effect last night.  Let’s take a look.

When iStockphoto is Down …

Sites on the web sometimes go down for maintenance, planned or not, much to everyone’s chagrin.  If you need to access iStock to get a comp (thumbnail for rough work) when the site is down, try using Google images, constrained to iStockphoto.
