Books, books, books! Recently, our library district decided to tear down a smallish branch, and in the lot behind it, simultaneously build a 2 wing, 2 story modern branch. This place is amazing, with meeting rooms, computers, comfy lounge areas and even a big convention room. Of course, I wanted to shoot there, so I negotiated some time on a Sunday morning to shoot some stock images, and you’ll find these photos exclusively on Stocksy!
This new series, set in the facility, has models ages from 3-10 year old kids up through adult. They are studying in the stacks, sitting at tables doing homework, checking out with a stack of books at the counter, and working with librarians. There are close up images and images with copy space. The images also include technology, like smart phones and digital tablets. The setting could be interpreted as a school or college setting as well, if needed.
