Portfolio Update: Easter 2016

I know this comes a bit close to the Easter holiday, but better late than never.  This year, it’s all about the egg and I’ve got new images on Stocksy and the Micros to prove it!

First off, I’ve added a new set of Easter related stock images to my Stocksy United portfolio.  In this set, I’ve got some colorful “marble” style Easter Eggs.  These were fun to do, and not hard at all.  Basically, I used food coloring with water and vinegar to make a variety of color baths.  Then I dyed the eggs all the light colors I liked – yellow, orange, green, etc.  The next step is to add a tablespoon or so of olive oil onto the top of the colors and give it a swirl.  Then you put the egg through the oil on it’s way to another color, giving it a bit of a roll around.  Then remove and dry.  There you have the marble Easter egg technique.  Also in this series are some new “golden egg” concept images that go along with the ones I did last year.  These can help symbolize savings or retirement.

The other series of new images can be found in full on my Photoshelter portfolio site, as well as at Canva and some at Shutterstock.  Let me start out by saying that the ones you see below on white (and others) are available at Canva with transparency!  So you can lay them over your design with no issues.  Also, they are available in my new PNG with Transparency gallery at Photoshelter.  More on that tomorrow, here on the blog.
