Just a quickie portfolio update on a new, short series of images that could be utilized for the upcoming holidays. I call it “Winter Wear Woman”.
Not to be confused with “Wonder Woman”, lol. I’ve got a cute female model in studio, wearing a black and white hoodie along with red gloves and a scarf. I painted up a custom background with a sponge texture for the low key side of things. The background is very dark, but the information is there. Intentionally lit dimly, the highlight is where it needs to be in these images – on the face, or hands, or holiday gift. By the way, these would work for Christmas, or Valentine’s Day. Lots of copyspace.
The high key photos are starkly lit with shadow by a strobe with no modifiers. This gives a hard shadow in areas and high contrast. Very much in the “cel phone flash” style of image. Also included in this series are several silver balloon images to celebrate New Year’s Eve and 2017.
