Cinco De Mayo Photos For 2017

It’s time to get out the blender and make some margaritas!  Cinco De Mayo is just around the corner.  New images ahead!

Holiday themed images are a staple of my portfolio of stock photography.  I don’t do them for every holiday every year, but every few years I like to freshen up things with a new set.  Recently I revisited my Cinco De Mayo themed background series.  Sure, I’ve got a microstock set of images using a cantina-ish red wood background, but I wanted to lighten up the text/copyspace area by using some lighter and slightly worn white wood.

These images have colorful party lights that add a fun glow.  The usual line up of Mexican themed props brings in the right atmosphere – sombrero, serape and maracas.  I like to think of our recently closed Chevy’s Fresh-Mex restaurant when putting these things together.  Then I add in the fun of a margarita on the rocks or a cold Mexican beer.  Snacks as well!  Chips and salsa, fresh guacamole, street tacos, and chile peppers round out the theme.

You can find these on all my microstock agencies, like Shutterstock, as well as in my portfolio on Photoshelter (click here).  Oh, and on Canva as well for those that enjoy their design tools.  Thanks for stopping by, and ‘ole!
