It doesn’t take a wizard to figure out that when a stock image series is successful, that you may want to continue producing images in that same vein. That’s why I’ve created and am happy to share with you, some more more content in my series of “table top backgrounds“.
Last week I heralded the arrival of the holiday season with the announcement of my annual charity drive, proceeds to be based on my iStockphoto.com portfolio downloads for the week.
Ho, ho, ho, it’s the giving time of year. Next week I’ll be kicking off my 2012 Charity Drive, based on my iStockphoto portfolio downloads. By licensing work from my portfolio, you’ll be helping me donate money to three great causes. Read on for more details…
Eyeballs are what makes the world go around. Specifically, the more eyeballs you can get onto your work, the better chance you have of selling that work, especially when it comes to stock content, like the kind I have in my iStockphoto.com portfolio. So, for the last several months I’ve been working on a new style portfolio display site. It’s meant to give you, the buyer, an alternate method of looking through my work, and then purchasing said work. For […]
With the holiday season fast approaching, I’ve already profiled some of the new royalty free content that is appearing in my portfolio at iStockphoto. Today, here’s a look at another part of my Holiday2012 series – these new images feature a young female adult in winter clothing, on a blue starry background with lots of copyspace, laying in the snow, and also some with the ever popular white card, which is easy to use for advertisements and articles. Thanks for […]

Low downloaded images can help give your business a boost from uniqueness – at least for a while. Here’s a look at some images that people are licensing for the first time.
With my stock image work, sometimes I like to plan ahead. The leaves aren’t always going to be turning orange at the right time. The Valentine candy isn’t always in stores. And the Christmas season decorations aren’t up all year long. That’s why I spent some time shooting fresh, new images last holiday season for this year’s advertising and editorial image needs. I spotlit one of these series a few weeks ago, here. Today, we’re looking at another series – […]
Back on September 5th, iStockphoto revealed their new checkout process, which allows buyers to simply add content to a shopping cart, and then quickly check out with a credit card, instead of using a pre-paid credit plan. Yesterday, they added a great piece of interface functionality to the site.
Forgive the silence ’round these parts, but over this last weekend, I traveled to Raleigh, North Carolina for an excellent iStockphoto “mini-lypse” ( a weekend of stock shooting ), put together by Eric at VegaBlue Studios. I might preview some of of the resulting images here next week, but if you’re in a spooky mood, you can always check out my facebook business page for a looky now. Speaking of spooky, today’s portfolio update takes a look at some new […]
