More Halloween images! Yep, I’m on an Autumn kick this year, and I’m pumping up my royalty free stock image portfolio at Stocksy with new holiday imagery. This week, I’m showcasing a family carving pumpkins for Halloween.
The series takes place outside, in the backyard, on a picnic table – you wouldn’t want to get the kitchen all messy now, right? The young boy and girl are busy being creative, figuring out what faces to put on their pumpkins. Scary or happy? Once the final drawing is selected, the face is drawn on their pumpkin of choice. The parents then help the kids cut the top off (you didn’t tell me you were going to kill it!) and scoop the pumpkin guts out. The kids are the masters of the cutting tools as they work their way through getting their jack-0-lantern just right. Finally, there’s a bit of showing off their work of art.
