Today I’m showcasing a new stock photo image series I’m very excited about. The theme is “The Urgent Care Center”, and it has a ton of useful content.
This series, exclusively found on Stocksy United, is set in a modern medical facility. We had half a day to shoot here, and took advantage of that, using several different locations to give buyers the most options for content. First, we took advantage of the nurses’ station area. This wide open space has several workstations and a small lab area. My techs interacted with each other, the computers and a digital tablet for a while, and then we utilized the lab equipment. In the series, we covered urinalysis, as well as strep and blood testing. Very authentic, since we were able to access all the laboratory equipment and chemicals.
Next, we moved to the CT scanner room to do our first bit of radiology exam work. With the consult of the facility radiologist, we set up the patient and the techs as they actually would be during an exam. This includes some photos with the technicians in the outside room looking in through the window, which provides many layers of viewing interest. I’ve provided a variety of compositions, close ups to wide shots, to have maximum flexibility. After the CT scanning, we moved to the X-Ray room. Again, the radiologist directed us to ensure realism. The storyline is that a patient has come in with pain in his wrist, and so the doctor is running tests to see what is going on. The images include use of a protective vest.
Last, we utilized a trauma room. In this room, we continued examination of the wrist injury, which ends in a nurse administering a sling to assist the patient. Then the doctor treats another patient with a bloody wound on the back of his hand. One of my techs is also a make-up artist and applied the special effects here, so it looks very real. This patient ends with an applied bandage.
For this session, I had five models portraying medical professionals (nurses, doctors, technicians) and three models playing the part of patient. There’s a variety of ages in the models and they appear very real and authentic.
