Today I’m introducing a new image series, “Mexican Restaurant”, made with Cinco De Mayo advertising in mind and available exclusively on Stocksy United.

This new series was shot in a small local business. We eat here all the time – their tacos are excellent! So I knew they’d be a good partner for this shoot. For this series, I tried to keep a focus on the food and drink for the most part, allowing lots of copyspace for text. I tried to also include lots of color to grab attention – from a bright runner on the table to keeping the food and drink in frame at all times.
There are colorful fruit margaritas as well as Mexican cerveza being drunk by this group. Chips and salsa are a standard of course, and this salsa is homemade and delicious. The group feasts on both chicken and shrimp tacos with sides of refried beans, rice, vegetables and pasta salad. There’s also a huge plate of nachos, and a cheese and sauce covered burrito. We’re eating, we’re drinking, we’re toasting, and having fun.
